Youth

Direct, introverted, and imaginative. That’s how I would describe my core self. My childhood was spent playing pretend in my mother’s garden, writing plays on legal pads in my Hello-Kitty themed bedroom, and putting on strange outfits that always surprisingly worked. In grade school, I spent my afternoons in theater rehearsals and choir practices, dreaming about a future in the arts, and once I moved to college, I discovered that, thanks to my perseverance through severe dyslexia, a writing wasn’t just possible; it was inevitable. My life so far has been littered with creativity. I have been lucky enough to maintain a youthful willingness to play, and it’s that which keeps me running back to creative fields.

Career

I like to think my artistic career officially began when I was a junior in high school. That’s when theater became a full time job. I would rehearse about 50 hours per week, and in the summers, when I wasn’t doing summer stock or at theater camp, I was working as a camp counselor for a community theater day camp. Auditioning for colleges was a no-brainer. I went to Emerson College for a semester of acting school, and although my love for acting will never fully dissolve, it was time to expand my horizon. I took a short break from school before transferring to Marymount Manhattan University in New York to pursue a degree in Writing for the Stage. I thrived in New York, spent my free time working at a yoga studio, and eventually produced my first play, “Under the Covers,” in the spring of 2019. After graduation, I immediately began my career in the arts. In 2020, I grew from an Executive Assistant at The Right Eye Inc. to an agent to five clients, where I learned to manage an artist’s career and public image. In 2022, I decided to expand my experience as an executive assistant and began working with my brother in the re-launching of our family’s 100 year old raffia company, The Joseph Stern Co. I currently manage all Sales and Operations at Joseph Stern.

Personal Life

My free time is very important to me, and I’m deeply intentional about how I spend it. I spend much of my time reading philosophy and self-help books, studying astrology and tarot, creating new recipes, and teaching yoga. I currently live in Los Angeles, CA with my partner, Jack, and our two cats, Brick and Magnolia. Jack and I spend our weekends discovering new hiking trails, discussing our meditative practices, and searching for the best cheap pizza in LA (Elio’s in Silverlake currently takes the cake). My personal growth is the most important thing in my life, whether that be communication within relationships, unpacking past traumas, or conducting light work. The dedication I have to my evolution as an individual is what keeps me grounded and prepares me to connect.
